Sunset at the Palms Offers Mother’s Day and Father’s Day Packages

Aimed at Spoiling the People Who Spoiled (and Maybe Grounded) You

Negril, Jamaica (January 31, 2017) – The heart of winter may seem a bit early to be thinking about Mother’s Day and Father’s Day, but there’s no time like now to commit to shaking things up in the gift department. A sure-fire way to become the favorite child – or to win points as the most amazing spouse – is to give Mom and Dad the gift of a relaxing, stress-free existence. And a great way to do that is to send them to Sunset at the Palms, an all-inclusive, adults-only, tree-house style resort in Negril, Jamaica. The resort is offering two packages – “Celebrate Mom” and “Celebrate Dad” – that will make up for all those years of perfume and flowers, neckties and hardware.

The Celebrate Mom Package is priced at $1,999 (U.S.) and includes five nights of all-inclusive accommodations for two; Club MoBay service, which fast tracks guests through immigration and customs at the Montego Bay airport; and a souvenir photo. Mom also gets a 60-minute aromatherapy massage, manicure, pedicure and mini facial at the resort’s Ginger Lily Spa; a bottle of wine; one breakfast in bed (because you have to keep at least one Mother’s Day tradition alive); and a shopping excursion that ends at the famed Rick’s Café for sunset. Part of what makes Rick’s so famous – beyond the live music and those amazing sunsets – is the fact that some guests here will voluntarily jump off a cliff into the water below. (But the good news is that these aren’t Mom’s kids, so she doesn’t have to worry about them. She can just sit back and enjoy the show.)

The Celebrate Dad Package is also priced at $1,999 (U.S.) and it, too, includes the five nights of all-inclusive accommodations for two, Club MoBay service at the airport, and a souvenir photo. In addition, he gets a 60-minute massage and pedicure, a Cuban cigar, a bottle of Jamaica’s Appleton VX Ages Rum, and a half-day deep-sea fishing trip. What Dad might like to hear is that nobody’s going to ask him to grill the fish … though he could participate in one of the resort’s beach-side cooking classes to learn some new techniques for when he’s back in the real world.

Each package is available from May 1 through June 30, 2017, and these special $1,999 rates are available by booking online at www.ThePalmsJamaica.com or calling 1-877-734-3282. The five-night stay is required, but extra nights can be added at an additional fee.

Sunset at the Palms is an all-inclusive resort that puts the focus on relaxation, and its staff provides a level of service that truly spoils guests, encouraging them to simply enjoy time together and leave their worries behind. Guests stay in 85 elegantly appointed treehouse-style rooms that are nestled among 10 acres of lush greenery, so they’re surrounded at all times by the beauty of a true paradise. The resort is also home to an array of tropical birds and butterflies, with everyone walking or flying along foliage-lined pathways that lead to restaurants and bars, the spa and tennis courts. And though that sunset at Rick’s is pretty spectacular, guests will argue that there’s really no better place from which to watch a day end than from Sunset at the Palms’ white-sand beach, considered by many to be the very best in Jamaica.

So don’t just make a reservation at Mom’s or Dad’s favorite restaurant; do something bigger and better this year. After all, these are the people who gave you the gift of life. Surely that’s worth a tropical vacation in return?
