Location

Relaxed and chic, Sunset at the Palms stands at the gateway to the most blissful beach in Jamaica. This pristine beach stretch dubbed “Bloody Bay” is located in Negril, only a few steps away from the resort. A scenic, sixty-minute drive along the coast links the resort and the Donald Sangster International Airport in Montego Bay, which is served by many leading air carriers.

Club MoBay VIP Arrival

For all U.S. and Canadian guests, this ‘first class’ touch-point service begins the minute you step off the airplane at Jamaica’s Sangster International Airport in Montego Bay.

The service includes a Club MoBay representative who greets you upon arrival, escorts and fast tracks you through the Jamaican immigration and customs process saving you valuable vacation time. The Club MoBay representative also assists you with airport services information, luggage retrieval and shows you to the Arrival Lounge where you can enjoy a wide array of amenities while waiting for your ground transportation.

Accommodations

The resort offers 85 “treehouse-style,” elegantly appointed guestrooms and suites on ten-acres of lush landscaping, a design praised by Architectural Digest.

White drapes flutter over French doors in our airy, graceful guestrooms. Chic, Asian-inspired furnishings include gauzy linens, dark wood furniture and natural fibers. The sleek, modern bathrooms feature splendid slate tiles, chrome fixtures and showers with four body jets and two shower heads. Daybeds on the balconies make you feel at one with nature with the option to stay connected with complimentary Wi-Fi in your guestroom.

Noted for their distinctive design, our deluxe treehouse guestrooms offer spacious quarters, featuring king-size beds, air conditioning, satellite television, ceiling fans, safes, hair dryers and direct-dial telephones.

For those looking for a little more room to stretch out, our split-level suites are the resort’s most exclusive accommodations. Descend from the master bedroom to sunken salon with a sofa bed. Each suite boasts two full bathrooms and two private verandas.

Chef’s Showcase Under the Stars – Our Executive Chef features authentic local cuisines and produce from our gardens with a Mediterranean twist. This intimate dinner is offered select nights each week and requires elegant resort attire and reservations.

Palm Grove Restaurant – an open air dining pavilion offering breakfast, lunch and dinner, featuring first-rate, buffet-style Caribbean and international cuisine.

Lotus Leaf Restaurant – a la carte dinner restaurant offering an eclectic fusion menu with a Caribbean flair. Open select evenings, four nights each week. Elegant resort attire and reservations required.

Palm Breeze Beach Bar & Grill – Delight in an array of simple pleasures such as great sandwiches and grilled favorites including Jamaican ‘Jerk’ specialties. Our friendly bar staff serves ice-cold Red Stripe beer, tropical rum drinks, fresh fruit juices, soft drinks and refreshing smoothies.

Bamboo Bar – Swim right up and enjoy a refreshing cocktail, pull up a seat by the bar or lounge by the pool, all while you enjoy an array of your favorite tropical concoctions, juices and an assortment of beverages.

Activities & Excusions

As the “capital of casual,” we invite you to relax and soak up the sun by the turquoise-blue pool. However, if you’re looking for some excitement, we have an array of non-motorized water sports to keep you busy on the two-mile long, crescent-shaped beach. Try your hand at kayaking, bobble along on a water beetle or skim by on a windsurfer. Under the waves, you can snorkel around Negril’s arches, caverns, coral gardens and offshore reefs.

On land, check out our island cooking class, learn to mix with the pros at our “mixology class” or take a nature walk with Shorty, our resident gardener.
